The room was amazing, beautifully decorated and with all necessary facilities. the location was great, surrounded by the Yorkshire Dales, providing a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was outstanding, great food to start the day.

There was no bathtub, which can be a negative aspect for those who enjoy relaxing baths after a long day of exploring. the view from the room was not as impressive as I expected compared to the surrounding landscapes.

Amid the tranquil farm setting, this hotel felt like a luxurious escape. the antique furnishings, charming picnic tables, and exclusive amenities gave our stay a sense of grandeur. the service we received was exceptional, and our special diet menu was carefully catered to.

The room's heating controls seemed complicated, and we struggled to operate them.

We had an exceptional stay in a 17th-century house set in peaceful and scenic surroundings. the furnishings were perfectly in keeping with the age of the building and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our room was plush with plenty of character, and the en-suite was very clean and of a high standard. We enjoyed a huge breakfast with homemade bread and preserves every morning, and the owners were a wealth of information on nearby villages and walks in the area. We loved exploring the nearby rivers and quaint villages.

The shower cubicle could have been a bit larger for more comfortable use.

We had a fantastic stay at a stunning historic house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The spacious self-catering accommodation was full of character and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a beautifully equipped bathroom. The location was peaceful, and we enjoyed walking along the nearby rivers. There were plenty of options for eating and drinking in the neighboring villages. we highly recommend this wonderful, historic home as a perfect retreat in the heart of the Dales.

Spent Christmas in a beautiful old, converted Hall in a stunning location. The apartment was furnished in a luxurious and comfortable way and had a well-equipped kitchen which allowed us to cook gourmet feasts with ease. The bed was divine and the bathroom with the stand-alone double-ended bath was wonderful to relax in. The warm welcome from the hosts, along with the little personal touches, made our stay even more special.

As expected, due to the remote location, we experienced poor Wi-Fi reception. , we found the bed to be on the harder side which made it uncomfortable for some of us.

We had an amazing stay in a quiet location surrounded by beautiful scenery. The hotel facilities were luxurious and the room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast provided was delicious with a huge choice of options. The staff were warm, welcoming and happy to help.

    Not obvious to find.
